Terms of Service

Destiny reads palms from a photo. You upload a photo of your palm and give your date of birth. Software notes the lines and mounts it can see and writes a report about them. The report is digital content: you read it on the site, and you can print it or save it as a PDF. Nothing is shipped.

The summary and chapter 1 are free. The Palm report opens the other eleven chapters, the notes on love, career, health and money, and a printable copy. The Combined report adds a Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart worked out from your birth date, time and city, and a practical plan for one decision you are facing.

Reports are written by AI, not by a person. An OpenAI GPT model looks at your photo and notes the lines and mounts it can make out. A GPT model then writes the summary and the chapters from those notes and the birth details you gave. When a paid report has a cover illustration, it is drawn by OpenAI's GPT Image model from a short description we write of the lines that were read. The image model never receives your photo or anything you typed. We reach these models through third-party API services.

The birth chart in the Combined report is worked out by our own code from your birth details, not by an AI model. The optional question you type for the decision plan is matched against our guides on our server; it is not sent to an AI model.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. Palmistry is for adults who are using it for self-reflection and entertainment. We do not serve minors.

If you are using Destiny on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

Destiny has no accounts and no logins. Each reading has its own private link, and the browser you made it in keeps the key to it. Anyone who has the link can open the report, so do not post it publicly. If you want a copy of the link, you can have it emailed to you from the free preview.

Do not pretend to be someone you are not when you upload a photo or give birth details.

Every purchase is a one-time payment for one report. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and you are never charged again unless you choose to buy another report.

• Report preview: free. The summary and chapter 1.
• Palm report: $1.99, once. All twelve chapters for one reading.
• Combined report: $29.00, once. The palm report plus the birth chart and decision plan. If you already bought the Palm report for the same reading, it costs the difference, $27.01. If you bought the older $9.90 palm report, it costs $19.10.

The prices are also on the pricing page. They are in US dollars. If tax applies where you live, the checkout page shows it before you pay. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited, Hong Kong), which sells the report to you as merchant of record and sends your receipt. Earlier purchases went through Creem and keep their original terms. We never see or store your card details.

The paid chapters are written once the payment is confirmed. That usually takes about a minute, and the report page shows them as soon as they are ready.

You may not:

• Upload a photo of someone else's hand without their permission. Upload only your own hand, or the hand of someone who has agreed to it.
• Upload anything other than a photograph of a real human hand. No drawings, AI-generated images, or photos of someone else's skin in a context they would not consent to.
• Put any of the following in a photo, in your question or in a share post:
  • sexual or nude content;
  • violence or gore;
  • hate speech;
  • anything that sexualizes or endangers a child;
  • material meant to impersonate a real person, such as a deepfake;
  • material that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
• Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, including the reading model, beyond what is reasonable for personal use.
• Resell, redistribute, or republish your readings as a commercial service of your own.
• Use Destiny to harass, mock, or profile other people based on their hands or readings.

If these rules are broken. We can refuse to make a reading, stop one that is being written, or remove access to a reading that breaks these rules or abuses the service, for example by deleting its report and photos. Where the law requires it, we report illegal material to the relevant authorities.

Reporting. If you come across a reading, an upload or a share post that breaks these rules, email hello@trypalmreading.com with the link or the reading ID. We look at every report we receive.

What we check. Report text is checked automatically before it is saved, and text with banned claims (for example about illness, death or guaranteed outcomes) is written again or replaced with our own template text. The cover illustration is drawn from a fixed description we write, so nothing you type reaches the image model.

The Destiny brand, the visual system, the writing in our letters and readings, the underlying reading model, and the source code of this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may keep, share, and screenshot your own readings for personal use.

The hand photo you upload is yours. By uploading it you give us permission to process it for the purpose of generating your reading. We do not use your image to train models, sell to third parties, or display publicly.

Destiny is offered for entertainment and self-reflection. We do not guarantee any specific life outcome. We do not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. AI-written text can be wrong or inconsistent. See our Disclaimer for the longer version.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for high uptime and accurate readings, but we cannot promise either will be perfect at every moment.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Destiny reports in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material (it affects prices, refunds or your rights), we will email subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Smaller edits (typos, clarifications) we will quietly publish, with the Last updated date at the top of the page reflecting the change.

You can stop using Destiny at any time; there is no account to close. To delete a reading and its photos, use the delete my data page or email hello@trypalmreading.com. What is deleted and what stays is set out in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. This does not take away any protection you have under the consumer law of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, email hello@trypalmreading.com first; we reply within 7 days and will try to put it right.
